Apacheria - Civil War Guns

Bid Board Rules

Our antique bid board will present legally tradeable items from the on line trading post of Apacheria Traders. Bids will be accepted until one hour before the closing time listed for that item.

Each item will have a reserve bid, a minimum increment bid and no starting bid.

Bids can be submitted by mail, fax, e-mail or phone. You should bid your top bid by either the absolute or increment method. The bidder must state whether he wants the bid to be absolute or increment. If the bid is not identified, then it shall be considered an increment bid.

RESERVE PRICE

Each item listed shows a reserve price under the details for that item.  If the reserve price for that item is not met by the end of the auction, it will not be sold.

ABSOLUTE BID

If the bid is absolute and if that bid amount is equal to or greater than one increment higher than the previous high bid, THE ABSOLUTE WHOLE NUMBER OF THAT BID will be recorded as the high bid (no cents will be considered as part of the bid). If no other bid (either increment or absolute) is given that equals or surpasses the minimum increment bid, then that bid stands as high bid and the bidder will be contacted.

INCREMENT BID

If the bid is increment and the amount is at least equal to or greater than one increment higher than previous high bid, then that portion of the bid that equals previous high bid plus one increment shall be recorded as high bid. At that point a check will be made to determine if another increment bidder has a high bid that is equal to or greater than one increment above the current high bid. If so, then another increment shall be added to the high bid and so recorded as high bid. That process shall continue until there aren't any bids that are equal to or greater than one increment above the current high bid.

FIRST BID

If the first bid in is an absolute bid and equal to or greater than one increment above 0, that bid amount will be recorded as high bid. If the first bid in is an increment bid, the bidding will start at one increment level above 0. In order to be accepted as the next high bid, whether absolute or increment, the bid amount must be equal to or greater than one increment higher than current high.

The bidder should include name, mailing address, and phone number. Fax numbers and e-mail addresses should also be included when available.

Postage and insurance will be added to the highest bid.

There is no buyer's premium.

Arizona residents will be charged a 7% sales tax.

Successful bidders will be notified by e-mail, fax or phone within 24 hours after close of bidding. Payment for items purchased should be received by the first Saturday following the auction.

After payment has been received, items will be shipped UPS 3 day select, return receipt requested, and insured for purchase price. Four business days between payment receipt and shipment will be allotted for bank clearance of personal checks. Same or next business day shipments will be scheduled for payments made by money orders, certified checks and wire transfers.

There will be a 3 day inspection period allowed for all items unless they are marked "AS IS".
