PR091-DISPLAY BOARD WITH 60 POINTSI acquired these points at the Indian show in Albuquerque. The came with a statement made by a Howard L. Kisner, dated 10-07-2006 stating that he had found these points along the Kings River in Carrol County, Arkansas, in the 1940's and 1950's. The display board measues 24-1/2 inches by 15 inches. There are approximately 60 points of various sizes. PRICE: $225Picture

PR090-FOSSIL BONY FISHThese Fossil Fish were from the Eocene Green River Formation in Wyoming. The paper that came with them states they became fossils about 50 million years ago but the fish go back about two and a half billion years. Makes me wonder if we will make it another 2-1/2 billion years. PRICE: $135Picture

PR003-ARROWHEADS/POINTS.This packet contains seven points that I consider to be legitimate. The problem with purchasing points is that they are made today and sold as tourist items. It is difficult for me to tell the difference between a point made in our prehistoric past and one that was made just recently. For that reason, I only purchase points when the purchasing situation appears to be authentic. As an example, I was at a small rural auction in Southeast Kansas where goods that belonged to the retired farmer were being auctioned. A small old cigar box containing several old points came up for sale. I felt confident that over the years the farmer would pick up a point or two off of his fields after plowing the soil. Everything in the auction seemed to fit with the history of the farmer. Therefore, I believed the points to be authentic and found on private property. When I was a kid, I lived on a farm in the same geographic area. Upon occasion after my father had plowed a field, I would walk over that freshly plowed field and find a point or two. I knew other farmers in the area that had quite a few points found in the same manner. Today farming methodology in that part of the country has changed and farmers do not use deep furrow plowing. Therefore, modern day farmers do not find the points like the old-timers used to. SOLD Picture
PR005-ARROWHEAD/POINTS. This packet contains seven points. these seem to be a little more crudely made than the others I have presented. See statement in PR003. $95 Picture
PR006-ARROWHEAD/POINTS. This packet contains seven points. These seven seem to be more crude than any of the others I have presented. The point on the left appears to be the broken tip off of a much larger point. See statement in PR003. $85 Picture
